Born and raised in the countryside outside Currie, Minnesota, Blake is a proud 4th-generation farmer who grew up balancing early mornings on the farm with long days in school and on the field. A true athlete at heart, he played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track, always pushing himself to excel. But behind the grit was a creative mind searching for an outlet. Blake started writing songs in middle school, at first as an expression of his creativity, and secondly as a form of therapy. He kept writing through high school, never chasing fame, just putting pen to paper whenever inspiration struck.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit during his junior and senior years, Blake’s plans to play collegiate football were derailed after athletic eligibility rulings gave older players an extra year. Instead of giving up, he pivoted heading to New Jersey in 2021 to continue pursuing his football dreams at a prep school. There, immersed in a completely new musical culture, Blake experienced a creative rebirth. Songwriting once again became a powerful outlet, influenced by the vibrant sounds around him. By the end of 2021, Blake returned home to Minnesota to focus on the family farm and his growing entrepreneurial ventures. But music remained a constant. One night at a local men’s league basketball game in December 2022, Blake met his soon to be future producer Jake Erickson, after catching his attention freestyling for fun. That impromptu moment became a turning point, launching a new chapter in Blake’s musical journey.

In June 2023, Blake released his debut EP “All of You & Me”, putting a decade’s worth of songwriting to use. In just two years, he built a catalog of over 45 songs and cultivated a devoted fanbase drawn to his honesty, authenticity, and genre-blending sound. His first full-length album “It’s Complicated” is set to release on June 1st, 2025.
